Customs: Not to refer radiological examination of exports except in the case of the request of the person concerned or the importing country.
New instructions issued by the Customs Authority regarding radiological examination of Egyptian exports in Egyptian ports. The Customs Authority decided not to refer radiological examination of Egyptian exports except in the case of the “exporters” request or the request of the importing country for those goods. Export Control Circular No. 34 of 2020 issued by the Customs Authority stated that the decision came after coordination between the Atomic Energy and Nuclear and Radiation Control Authorities and the Export and Import Control Authority to unify the body that will radioactively examine exports through several meetings between these bodies.
