4 industry managers look to the future of global supply chains.
COVID-19 is probably the most hate word in the world right now due to the widespread economic turmoil it has caused in the world. Almost all countries and all companies around the world have been affected by this epidemic. The supply chain industry was also severely affected. There has been a tremendous decrease in the volume of goods, congestion on land and sea, job losses, etc., although paradoxically this is one of the industries that helps and helps to combat this epidemic by ensuring the movement of basic commodities such as medical supplies, food and personal protective equipment. At the end of March 2020, we prepared a short survey sponsored by Ocean Insights. More than 300 shipping and shipping professionals worldwide responded to this survey. The data collected was analyzed to measure three main aspects – impact, preparedness and recovery.
