“Post” signs an agreement with “DHL” to stimulate express freight movement in Africa.
The Egyptian National Post Authority signed, on Monday, a joint cooperation agreement with the “DHL Express”, the global express logistics company, to facilitate e-commerce services in Africa, by providing new and innovative services to activate the fast freight movement to and from the African continent, and focus on Egypt’s position as a major hub for development. On the sidelines of the Africa Post Forum, in the presence of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Amr Talaat. The agreement aims to facilitate and coordinate the formulation of the e-commerce strategy of Egypt Post, to serve as the company’s regional e-commerce center for Africa as well as to support small and medium-sized businesses in Egypt, as the two parties agreed to cooperate in the field of logistics and supply chain integration for the shipment and express transportation of e-commerce parcels directed to and from Africa.
