Singaporean companies express their desire to invest in dry and marine ports in Egypt.
The company is studying investment opportunities in East Port Said, Damietta and Tenth of Ramadan. Singaporean companies have expressed their desire to invest in the Egyptian market in the fields of maritime transport, land ports and logistics. The team, a full engineer and the Minister of Transport, held a meeting with Dominique Goh, the Ambassador of Singapore in Cairo, to discuss cooperation between the two sides. The Minister indicated the Ministry’s interest in maximizing the benefit of the maritime transport sector in supporting the national economy, and working to develop all seaports in accordance with the comprehensive scheme of Egyptian seaports that is currently being prepared. He explained that there are many investment opportunities in the Egyptian seaports such as Alexandria, East Port Said, Damietta, Safaga and Hurghada.
