IATA: 9.9% decline in international air freight demand.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) data showed a decline in international demand for air freight measured in metric tons, to minus 9.9 percent, while domestic air freight demand declined to 8 percent on an annual basis. IATA said that international freight levels are still lower than in 2019 due to the continued impact of air transport by the emerging coronavirus pandemic.
